Counsellor - Social Worker 

Role Details

ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ is on the lookout for a Counsellor/Social Worker to join us!

The Counsellor/Social Worker is primarily responsible for working with the school community to maximise learning outcomes and life opportunities for students. They work collaboratively within the College, including liaising with parents, teachers and any other professionals to positively influence the learning and emotional wellbeing of students.

You’ll be able to:

  • Significantly contribute to the counselling team at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, directly supporting our students.
  • Collaborate with Leaders and the Leader of Counselling Services to coordinate supports for students.
  • Maintain responsibility for student case management.
  • Promote a positive school environment and support school wellbeing programs.

Do you have:

  • A professional tertiary qualification which allows for membership or registration with the relevant Association/Federation (e.g. A Bachelor or Psychology or Social Work, and current registration).
  • A high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong relationship management, interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Note: The Counsellor/Social Worker works 44 weeks a year, but we can 'spread' your salary, so you're paid across the whole year.
